Overview

Maēchnḱ Yaẃtōw Ni̋ēkēä was founded durring the late 13th century in summer of the year 1198, by Cú̄shvoī Méoúch 'Jasmin Nikki' Jóchī Ha̋mpf̄kī Ya̋chvóń Së̂f̄́ Rérmé̄. The establishment of Maēchnḱ Yaẃtōw Ni̋ēkēä suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.

Maēchnḱ Yaẃtōw Ni̋ēkēä was built using the conventions of Goblin durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Maēchnḱ Yaẃtōw Ni̋ēkēä is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.

Maēchnḱ Yaẃtōw Ni̋ēkēä is buildings are grouped arround an odd layout of premissive packed earth streets, which seems to be based on an overlapping squair patern such that there are small squares at the cornor of every bigger square. Sometimes buildings exist in the smaller squaires, other times they are open spaces, or occupied by temporary structures. The city resides behind a palisade wall complete with battlments, a moat, and timber gatehouses with drawbridges. Maēchnḱ Yaẃtōw Ni̋ēkēä's robustly designed timber walls has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.

A look around Maēchnḱ Yaẃtōw Ni̋ēkēä gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring jsut long enough for it to be uncomfortable. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a city, and more like a spot people just happened to place their homes.

Points of Interest

Maēchnḱ Yaẃtōw Ni̋ēkēä has been cursed with some blight that makes life difficult, albeit not impossible. An offended sorcerer's vengeful Working, an outraged god's wrath, a local distortion of the Legacy, or a simple history of bad feng shui in the area may have brought the curse about. I(devise not only the curse, but the reason why the locals haven't left for better lands).

The center of Maēchnḱ Yaẃtōw Ni̋ēkēä's town square was built around an ancient standing stone.
